About SwissDTx™

Meet the team behind SwissDTx™

Our mission

Mental health disorders impose an enormous disease burden and an even bigger social impact across the world. Technological innovations can contribute to better healthcare delivery and have the potential to play an important role in the future of psychological treatment. That's why a group of experienced product developers, psychotherapists and researchers came together to build the SaaS-Platform SwissDTx™.

Health is the most important human good. But health is increasingly threatened by mental illness. Depression, anxiety and addictive disorders are already among the most common causes of disability and premature mortality in industrialised nations. We all know that mental disorders in children significantly increase the risk of developing a mental disorder in adulthood. At the moment, statistical survey indicate that 30% of children and adolescents in Switzerland show indications of mental issues. These findings speak for an urgent need to innovate and to take immediate action. It is all the more astonishing that the subject is so little present in the area of software development, knowing that digital technology can provide new means of assessing and tracking psychopathology.

By combining technical innovation with evidence-based treatments, our digital workspace SwissDTx™ can change how therapists work with patients. With new tools, the access to clinically safe and effective therapies can be increased for underserved groups, providing therapy with less stigmatisation and at-home convenience. All through an easy-to-use software, one point of connected care and by harvesting data for further clinical research. Our ambitious vision is to contribute and improve mental health of the society on a large scale, reduce public health expenses and mitigate the economic impact.

Yours sincerely,
the SwissDTx™-Team
